This one had a few moving parts. We installed a new Goodman R32 fan coil unit, ran a fresh line set, and swapped in a new condenser. On top of that, we sealed the system and did a full recharge to make sure everything was operating the way it should. Not a quick visit - but the kind of job where cutting corners would show up later.

The fan coil went in tight and secure, bracketed up into the ceiling space the right way. No flex, no slop. When we mount a unit, it needs to stay put - and that's exactly what this one does. The line set runs clean from there out to the condenser outside.

At the condenser, you can see the gauges hooked up and the nitrogen cylinder standing by. That's how we pressure-test and purge the system before any refrigerant goes in. It's a step a lot of guys skip to save time. We don't skip it. If there's a leak or a contamination issue, you want to find it before the refrigerant is in - not after.

R32 is a newer refrigerant with a lower environmental impact compared to older blends like R-410A. Goodman is building more equipment around it, and it performs well. If you're replacing aging equipment, it's worth understanding what refrigerant your new system uses and what that means for long-term service costs.

We do this kind of work across Zion, Wheeling, and Bellwood. Whether it's a full system swap, a refrigerant recharge, or anything in between - we show up, we do it right, and we make sure it's actually cooling before we leave.
